Rising damp travels up from the ground through capillary action. As moisture moves through the base of the wall and evaporates, it deposits salts in the plaster, leaving the tide marks and staining you’ll often see at low level. If your damp proof course has failed, or was never there in the first place, no amount of paint is going to stop it coming back.

We inject at precise intervals along the base of the wall, where the cream spreads through the masonry and forms a new moisture barrier. The contaminated plaster is hacked off, we apply a specialist salt-retardant render, and then replaster to finish. It’s not a quick fix. It’s a proper treatment.
